Jeff has had the pleasure of performing in 14 states, Canada, and Europe.  He has shared the stage with many jazz luminaries and entertainers including Don Menza, Richie Cole, Eddie Daniels, Jim Snidero, Snooky Young, Mickey Dolenz and the Monkeys, Red Skelton, Ed McMahon, Lucie Ball-Arnez and the Illinois Saxophone Quintet.  Jeff  has performed and recorded consistently since 1984 with the “Jeff Ford Quintet.”  This group features compositions by Jeff and all the group's current and past members.

As a composer, Jeff has recorded 9 cds/dvds  featuring his compositions and arrangements.  Jeff is also the Music Director/Lead Alto Saxophonist of the Fox Valley Jazz Big Band. www.fvjazzbigband.org

In the early 1980s, Jeff was involved with the development and  play testing of the then new Keilwerth SX90R saxophones.  This knowledge and curiosity along with some training and apprenticeships led to the establishment of Jeff Ford Woodwind Repair in 1998. www.jefffordwoodwindrepair.com  This business continues to repair, maintain, and restore woodwind instruments.
